Alex Yoder
Chief Executive Officer
As chief executive officer, Alex Yoder is responsible for worldwide operations and the overall strategic vision of Webtrends.
Prior to his appointment as CEO, Yoder spent the past seven years serving in key management positions at Webtrends, with his last role being vice president of sales, North America. During his tenure at Webtrends, he has successfully worked to expand the brand and deliver business value to global enterprises.
His time at Webtrends tops off more than 20 years of global business experience spanning leadership roles across sales, marketing and operations. Yoder has also served as vice president of sales for Touch Clarity, a behavioral targeting company.
Yoder won a Stevie Award for Executive of the Year in Computer Software at the 2011 American Business Awards and was recognized by the Portland Business Journal as the 2010 CEO of the Year in Technology.
Yoder holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Whitman College.
Hope Frank
Chief Marketing Officer
As chief marketing officer, Hope Frank leads worldwide marketing efforts on behalf of Webtrends. With more than 20 years of working in all facets of marketing, including B2B, B2C, brand, enterprise, digital, social, mobile, broadcast, public relations and investor relations, Frank brings a welcomed global focus to the company.
Prior to joining Webtrends, she led marketing at Motricity, THX Ltd, SBC, Vivitar as well as digital partner programs with AEG and ESPN. As a founding partner of a San Francisco branding and digital media firm, she established global brand retail standards for NIKE, launched the Starbucks Wi-Fi network and delivered digital programs for enterprise and financial clients. She is a founding member of the “The CMO Club,” as well as an advocate for “Women in Technology” in APAC and emerging markets.
Kristen Magnuson
Chief Financial Officer
As CFO, Magnuson leads and manages all financial, human resource and information technology functions for Webtrends operations globally. Her thirty years of broad based experience in finance and operations spans accounting, tax, mergers and acquisitions, business model restructuring, transition management, financial planning, legal, investor relations and information technology.
Prior to joining Webtrends, Magnuson was both the CFO and executive vice president at the publicly traded company JDA Software Group, Inc. During her twelve year tenure, the company grew by 400 percent, from $92 million to $385 million in total revenue.
Magnuson also held the position of vice president of financial planning and analysis for Michaels Stores, Inc., where she was the key player in completing four public offerings, five acquisitions and several bank financing transactions that raised nearly $1 billion in capital.
Magnuson also currently serves as a director and the Audit Committee Chair of Convio, Inc., a publicly held SaaS company that provides online Constituent Relationship Management solutions for nonprofit organizations.
Jeff Clayton
Vice President of Sales for North America
As Vice President of Sales for North America, Clayton leads the development and drives the strategic direction of all Webtrends sales efforts in North America. He brings 30 years of experience in database marketing, marketing automation, workflow management, email, web analytics, behavioral targeting, search, and ad serving.
Most recently Clayton was the vice president of interactive solutions strategy for Merkle, the leader in Enterprise Database Marketing. In his role, Clayton developed technology solutions and created partner relations to support Merkle’s current digital analytics, integrated social marketing, mobile, site side optimization and analytically driven display media practices.
Previously, as the VP of business development at Touch Clarity, Clayton played a key role in the company’s $62 million acquisition.
Additionally, Clayton has held vice president of sales and business development positions at Responsys, Double Click, Unica and ROI Direct.
Dave Canelis
Vice President, Global Services
As vice president of global services, Dave Canelis drives the industry-leading client services team at Webtrends. Under Canelis’ guidance, this seasoned team uses proven methodologies to provide web analytics services at every stage of the customer partnership, from professional services and consulting, to technical support, education and training.
Canelis brings more than 25 years of services leadership experience to Webtrends. Throughout his career, he has created best-in-class professional services, customer support and training programs for many of the nation’s top enterprise software companies.
Prior to joining Webtrends, Canelis served as vice president of professional services at Serena Software, a leading provider of enterprise application lifecycle software. He also has held senior leadership positions at Oracle, Gupta Corp. and Oblix.
Canelis holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from California State University at Hayward.
Bruce Kenny
Executive Vice President, Technology and Hosted Operations
As executive vice president of technology and hosted operations, Bruce Kenny oversees the On-Demand (SaaS) and On-Premise software solutions operations at Webtrends.
With more than 20 years of working in all facets of the software business, including sales, marketing, service and software development, Kenny brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company.
Prior to joining Webtrends, he led the engineering and hosted operations team at Infopia Inc., an e-commerce solution company. Kenny also served as senior vice president of products for Pivotal Corp. and as general manager and vice president at Simba Technologies Inc., the pioneer in standards-based data connectivity.
Suk Kim
General Counsel
As general counsel, Suk Kim oversees and manages all legal aspects for Webtrends. She is an active member of the executive team and also serves as secretary to the Board of Directors. Since joining Webtrends in 2006, Kim has served as director, corporate counsel and is recognized as a key contributor to the company’s successes.
Kim brings thirteen years of experience as a law firm attorney and in-house counsel structuring and negotiating technology-related commercial transactions, advising on protection and monetization of intellectual property assets, and serving clients from broad range of industries, including technology, media, entertainment and consumer services.
Kim has worked for such prestigious legal firms as Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York as well as Perkins Coie in Portland. Her range of experience includes work in intellectual property, securities, mergers and acquisitions and business law, including a focus on technology. She received her B.A. from Wesleyan University and is an honors graduate of Columbia LawSchool.
Nick Sharp
Vice President and General Manager, EMEA
As Vice President and General Manager of EMEA, Nick Sharp is responsible for Webtrends EMEA and Australasia strategy and day-to-day operations, including sales and marketing as well as technical support, training, implementation and business consulting services. Prior to being named General Manager, Nick served as Webtrends Vice President of EMEA Sales and Marketing for several years. In this role, he led EMEA’s most experienced sales and marketing teams in the web analytics industry, developing deep industry expertise across key markets and building strategic relationships with many of the region’s leading clients.
Nick has 18 years experience in established and start-up technology organizations and was EMEA Sales Director at InfoLibria Inc., where he was responsible for defining, developing and executing sales strategies. Nick was also Group Sales Director at Tricom Communications and has held positions at Riversoft, Micom and CASE Communications. He has a BSc in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University, UK.
